The Therapeutic Medical Physicist will be heavily involved in performing Q.A.. As the Physicist, there will be allowance for a strong learning curve, but work on the computer will be an important part of this job as well. Three new accelerators will add immeasurably and excitingly to the work.
 
 REQUIREMENTS
Must have completed the Masters in Physics by Aug. and be Board Eligible in Therapeutic Physics. Candidates must have at least two years in clinical oncology.

300  Program Director- Radiation Therapy & Medical Dosimetry We currently have a Regular full time, exempt position available in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging within the University for a Program Director. The Program Director will oversee the newly established Radiation Therapy and Medical Dosimetry programs. 

This individual will become an integral part in the Bachelor's of Science in Radiologic Services, radiation therapy and medical dosimetry concentration. Full time faculty position includes curriculum development, programmatic evaluation, teaching, supervision, counseling and administrative support. 

Requirements: The successful candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years professional experience and three (3) years as a Program Director or faculty in an accredited radiation therapy or dosimetry program with certification as a radiation therapist by the ARRT and/or certification as a medical dosimetrist by the MDCB. A Master's degree is preferred, or the applicant must be willing to complete the degree following employment at the University.

DESCRIPTION
A hospital in South Dakota seeks an experienced Physicist. This is a rural area about an hr. from Aberdeen and from Sioux Falls, as well as from Montevideo, MN. The Physicists who apply for this job should be ones who love the outdoors, since some of the best hunting and fishing is found here. The salary is good, they treat 20 patients a day, and provide mostly IMRT.

As the sole Physicist for this area you will be taking on the Radiation Safety Officer's role as well as handling all Nuclear Med. issues. A PET scanner is available as well as a Siemens Primus and a Siemens Stimulator. Since the hospital is small, this is a role for someone who can step in and do whatever is required
Requirements: Must be certified ABR or ABMP and have experience of at least three years in order to provide treatment planning, etc. Candidates must be proficient in English.

300  Medical Physicist   An excellent opportunity has opened for a Therapeutic Medical Physicist in beautiful Oregon. This 200 bed hospital has a very fine reputation in the area. 


The Medical Physicist will be the primary Physicist, and most of the work will be in IMRT and HDR. This individual is responsible for clinical treatment planning, Q.A., chart checks, regulatory compliance and implementation of new procedures. No brachytherapy is done at this time.

Requirements: Physicist must have at least four years of clinical experience, with much of the work in IMRT and HDR. The candidate should be ABTR or ABMP certified or possibly Board eligible within the next few months.
