DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations to detect and treat disease. Performs daily and monthly quality control to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of operating equipment. Requirements: Associate degree in Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine required. Registered or Registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART),
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologists (CNMT). Must maintain 24 continuing education
credits per biennium to retain registry status
